Quarter Round
Quarter round moldings are installed against existing baseboards to cover the required expansion/contraction space allowed for hardwood flooring. It can also be used under cabinet toe kicks or at the base of stairs.
Flush Mount Universal Edge
Used to join wood flooring with carpeted areas.
Flush Mount Reducer
Most commonly used to transition between hardwood flooring and floor coverings of lower vertical heights, such as vinyl or concrete. Can also be used around fireplaces as a design element.
Flush Mount Stair Nose
Stair nose is used to create a decorative finished edge on a stairstep or staircase, and as a transition when installing plank or strip on stairs, landings, or step-downs.
T-Molding
This molding is generally used as a transition between rooms with hardwood flooring and tiled surfaces. Can also be used to connect to existing wood floors.
Baby Threshold
Used as a transition from a room with hardwood flooring to a carpeted room, also commonly used at sliding door areas where expansion space is needed.
Tracks
In some cases moldings require tracks to secured them to the subfloor.
Overlap Trims:
Overlap trims are often used for engineered or floating hardwoods. Overlap trims overlap the hardwood floor while transitioning to the next surface in the different ways listed above.

- Risers are the boards that form the vertical face of each step. This creates the “toe kick” area between the stair treads. Standard riser sizes include 36″, 42″ and 48″ lengths. Various thickness options are offered to accommodate most staircase configurations. White risers are available in 1/4″ and 3/4″ MDF board.
- Suitable for a boxed staircase that is enclosed by walls on both sides. Regular sizes include nominal 36″, 42″ and 48″ lengths.* Tread is 3/4″ thick with a 1-1/16″ thick bullnose Tread is 11 1/2″ wide/deep Bullnose is 1-1/4″ wide/deep

Vents:
- A wall mount vent replaces traditional metal return air covers adding visual appeal.
- A surface vent easily drops into duct opening with the overlap resting on the floor, covering any rough edges from the hardwood installation.
- A flush mount vent is installed at the same time as the hardwood floor, it creates a flush look for the vent and frame.
